With over a decade of experience representing pioneering companies in healthcare and technology, Rebecca founded Elevare Law to create a partner-focused, future-driven legal experience for businesses poised to transform lives. Having helped hundreds of companies launch and scale, Rebecca is an expert in telehealth, virtual care, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data privacy, and the complex regulatory landscapes that shape healthcare and technology businesses. From launch to exit, she provides business strategy and legal support for some of healthcare's most innovative companies. 
 
Having cofounded the successful healthcare innovation law firm Nixon Gwilt Law, Rebecca brings the strategic insights honed from representing hundreds of startups at the forefront of digital health. She previously worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and as National Healthcare Policy Advisor for CGI, a technology leader in health reform. This background fuels Rebecca's commitment to partnering with clients in a meaningful, proactive way—one that aligns with their budget, vision, and business goals and is based on a deep understanding of the businesses she represents.
 
At Elevare, Rebecca works hand-in-hand with healthcare and technology companies to make informed decisions, anticipate challenges, and craft opportunities. Elevare Law was founded on the belief that legal support should not just mitigate risks but also create pathways to lasting impact. In Rebecca's words: “Our firm isn’t just about solving problems—it’s about building something inspiring and transformative together.”
 
Rebecca is especially passionate about working with BIPOC and female entrepreneurs and founders, and mentors dozens of startups each year through her relationships with leading accelerators like Plug and Play, Texas Medical Center Innovations, and TechStars. A federal government veteran, investor in underestimated founders, karaoke samurai, and kindness enthusiast, Rebecca lives in the traditional territory of the Powhatan Nation, colonially referred to as Richmond, VA, with her husband, three sons, and a silly bernedoodle named Sally.
